This collection contains folders of recipes that were used in Michigan State University dormitory dining halls. Some have handwritten revisions attached to them. There is also a program from the Mildred L. Jones (assistant manager of residence hall in charge of food service) honorary dinner and a short manuscript entitled "My Food Service Career at Michigan State University."

The Jack Ostrander collecton contains an issue of the alumni newsletter for Lambda Chi Alpha from 1958, MSU identification cards, photogrpahs of Ostrander, a 1949 composite photo of the members of Lambda Chi Alpha, and a composite photo of the 1948 ROTC Summer Camp Company A, 3rd Platoon. Also included is a paperweight commemorating the ground breaking for the MSU Credit Union in 1970 and a plaque acknowledging Ostranders contribution to organizing the MSU Wrestling Take Down Club.
